I am honestly struggling trying to figure this out. I already have 5 solar panels ( https://www.harborfreight.com/100-watt-monocrystalline-solar-panel-57325.html ) and want to get 2 lithium batteries for now adding more later ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084DB36KW/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_K2G44B0HCG1CKMP7V4E2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 ). I was needing help on what type of charge controller and 3000W inverter would work best with those 2 components? I also know there are supposed to be fuses somewhere in there but I’m confused as to where. Appreciate any feedback…thanks.

This 40a unit would work. Their 60a unit offers advantages over the 40a. The 60a will take 150v input where the 40a will only take 100v. If you put your 5 panels in series you will be slightly over the 100v max input so not advised. Also with the 60a you could add more panels and charge faster. You could use 8 or 10 panels with the 60a, 2 parallel, series strings of 4 or 2 parallel, series strings of 5.

also, if you have your panels in series and no more than 2 strings, fuse is not required. A fuse at/near the battery post is always a good idea.
