Stuff 32 105ah cells into a 304ah Case

Wanted to get thoughts on putting 32 eve 105ah cells into a 304ah case. In one row, qty 8 304ah cells = 576mm and 16 105ah cells would be 592mm so 16mm difference where 105s will take up just over 1/2" more space. Excuse my crude battery drawing below but this is what I'm trying to do. I'd set these up at 2p16s within the case with a 200amp JK smart BMS.

For those who did builds of 304ah case, does the compression plate have about 1/2" space to back out, might need to add longer compression plate screws?

1/2” is a bit much. Mix in FR sheets and your prob closer to a full 1”

The luyuan style case does have screws to secure the fixture plate to the case, so you could just use longer screws

Do you have the 105ah cells? I’ve seen prices (~40) about half of 280ah cells (80-100) so just seems cheaper/kwhr to snag 280 cells.

Yup. Loaded with 105s sitting on a cart. Want a better solution. Actually just ordered 105ah cases from Hakadi battery solutions. Got them for 221/case DDP, so all in, with discount code which includes JK smart BMS. Damn good deal but will take 30-45!days to arrive.

Glad to see DDP pricing hasn’t skyrocketed.
