Backstory is I got these 3 xantrex sw5548 on Facebook about a year ago, so I've had them sitting with plans to test them and use one for a a off grid system if they was functional but I never went through the trouble of testing since their 48v
I'm planning a semi portable setup for a RV type trailer. With these weighting in at 136lbs each and designed for grid tied systems (also backup generator compatible), I feel like a 24v only inverter is what I need.
The 1st has this (see third picture) wrote on it and the on/off switch missing, I pulled the front cover off and took pictures, The 2nd has damage on the screen (eighth picture) and the 3rd looked much better condition. All 3 have 1998/99 manufacturer dates on the spec stickers.
My questions are would they have any use or repurpose out of them? should I just scrap them or list them in the for sale section? Have not been tested and I do not have enough wire/terminals to safely test.
