Does anyone here have any experience or feedback on Shenzhen Mushang Electronics Co? I have been talking to MS Battery and they seem great. I am looking to put in a bigger order and looking for others experience.
I am looking for 120 X 280ah cells and 40 X 120ah cells. Any suggestions on the best place to look?
A little more info. Just received updated quote.
Welded stud on all cells. 120 X 230ah brand new EVE & 40 X 100ah brand new GFB cells.
DDP to my door in Vancouver is 11476 usd

Thank you very much for

Hi Saitor,
Just wondering if you finally pulled the trigger on the Mushang order.
I'm also interested in the 230Ah Eve cells, and would like to know if you are convinced that they're actually brand new. If they are, then they're quite a good bargain at $62, as they appear to have the same specs as the 280Ah some are selling for $120.

The one other customer on here didn't have a positive experience all round.

I ended up going with Nikkie Chen from Dongguan Lightning. I ordered 120 pieces of Rept 280ah and 40 pieces of catl 120ah. I fully paid for my order on May 10th. I am still waiting on the cells to ship. I had used Nikkie in the past and was happy with the product.

I've got the same problem with Blmpow, ordered May 8th and am still waiting, have messaged them through Aliexpress as to the batteries whereabouts and all i get is 'thank you sir' or smiley icons?? Its like dealing with kids.

Had i known when i first ordered batteries from soonbuy in February then cancelled after three months of silence that by August i still wouldn't have anything to show for my money with another supplier i really wouldn't have bothered. Problem is i've bought a ton of ancillary components to make the batteries so feel compelled to stay the course.

Even if they are travelling by ship i cant get my head around the total silence and no one at Blmpow not having a clue when they'll arrive, its rediculous. All i got told when i ordered in May that DPD would contact me when they arrive here in the UK.

Still waiting.

Don't know if it'll make you feel better or not but you can send me some money and it'll make me feel better. :)

Hope that make you smile at least a little.

Reading post like yours make me wary of ordering anything but ones I can buy and have in hand fairly fast (within weeks).

Credit card companies call taking your money and not shipping the product, fraud.
Contact the police and file a report, then contact the credit card company.

But there are time limits... best to know them and act before they run out.

Its about the only reason to ever use a CC...

lets see i have just made a enquiry 6 pcs. lishen to Europe
I predict.......

They will say a sure thing and quote you a price.
After you pay will come the "we don't have these in stock, so we are shipping something other than Lishen".

It happens a lot. The supply of Lishen cells has dried up, so you will likely get something else or obviously used cells.
Bait and switch is alive and well when dealing with China.

Just wanted to share my recent price and other experience getting quotes and chatting with some of the suppliers on Alibaba. Of course they all say the same thing, perfect Grade A, brand new cells, fully tested and matched. and they will all include bus bars and fasteners. Some of them add comments like QR codes intact.

Prices are all very close, except for Amy's, who is about $500 more than the average.

Anyway, I'll probably order 16 this week and get them on the way. I have 16 coming but want to have at least 32 for my 48v battery banks on the skybox.

Comments are welcome!

Nice List. If you are buying 16 or 32 280ah cells from China, ... I personally would buy 2 extra cells to deal with possible development of below par cells; maybe one extra if possible for an 8 cell order. That is my take as newbie with two separate 8 cell orders on my belt.

Amy was trying to address some of the concerns here about actual Grade A matched cells. I think she is willing to sell the same thing everyone else has, but the $120 cells are actually grade A from EVE.
Just wondering: ... Does Amy's more expensive Grade A 280ah LifePO4s have straight plane sides without bulging. ??? If so, I would like to see some pictures (as references for possible next buy). My previous 2 sets of 8 x 280 ah EVEs via Amy (1st @ xuba, then her newer set up ...) were IMO: not flat sided. I am still happy with what I got for the costs. I think I was told my first xuba order was grade A when I asked. On my second 8 cell order, the response was "don't worry". Still think I got a good deal, but did have one bad cell I documented , to get a free replacement from xuba on sea freight time suck. I now think ordering an extra cell or two is a good idea. ... I am still wondering who is selling real Grade A 280ah cells? ... that I would expect to have flat plane sides that pack together tightly without those bulges showing some slight air spaces in between some or all cells. I understand, some bulging is kind of normal. ... I also have question the wisdom of compressing these slight (seen some pictures of worse than slight) bulging cells for solar ...when the bus bars are solid, and when charging and discharge amps can shift dimensions of each battery in way that likely stresses the battery terminals. I used sticky tape between my cells of first try, and think that is not a bad idea, but the bus bars might be tight on some cell bulging (could be modified to take a wider span). My Feedback to all the LiFePO4 suppliers is: I wish flexible bus bars were supplied, or that there was a reasonably priced option. ... my two cents ;+)

I'll let you know how flat they are when I receive my 304AH grade A cells from Amy. Certainly the 105AH cells are flat, but the aluminum is thin, and the weight is great, so can't say yet on the bigger cells. The grade B cells from Xuba (purchased from Amy) that I received were not "bulged", but they do have undulating sides. Without substantially increasing the thickness of the aluminum, I'm not sure it is possible for them to be as flat as the smaller cells. They were NOT bulged, but not perfectly flat either. Certainly you can tell the difference in a battery pack under load between the real grade A, and "other" cells. Certainly I think the real grade A cells are worth the price, but certainly understand how others wouldn't think so.
My house is paid for, I'm not inclined to want it replaced.
