Connecting a swimming pool pump. Even though we’ve been off grid for nearly ten years. Not even connected too a grid.
I haven’t really had to learn about it. The systems were installed professionally and have just been bullet proof.
I recently built a swimming pool.
and two solar panels to run the pump direct.3E036E01-193C-4E4D-9F15-D4C041FEE0DB.jpeg
my question is can I just connect the two panels to my existing system, which is three

If you used 2 and 2 then it would work but not optimal. (the 2 original in parallel with the 2 pool panels)

It is best in my mind to buy another mppt solar charge controller to but the two panels on.

Thank you for that. At my last place the pool pump was connected directly to the panels, so as the sun came up it trickled until the sun was fully on the panels and then it shot out. Was a great setup and I wish I’d taken picks because I can’t seem to get it right here. The pump clicks as if it’s going to go and then nothing.
