Hi all using Growatt spf5000es, running now for 4 days, all good so far but overnight even with full batteries or near full at 9.30pm it switches to grid for the rest of the night until 8.30am. I’ve looked through the setting but get myself confused can anyone help please. Not to critical at the moment as not using very much overnight but I will in the future and would like to use my stored energy first.

Deye uses Time of Use function where you can specify conditions for battery use.
End of discharge / Cut-off SOC or volt for Luxpower and EG4.
Not familiar of growatt but it should have a similar setting.
your discharge cutoff soc/volt may be set high.
Check your manual.

Roughly what is your usage, battery capacity, PV power?
Battery voltage when it flips back to grid etc. etc.
