The EU has it more right than we do. In many ways. Nordics consistently score as the happiest population on Earth. I tried to emigrate to Sweden when Bush II was re-coronated, but wasn't allowed, legally; had to a) have a guaranteed job which no Swede is qualified to do, or b) have a Swede parent or grandparent (greats don't count); or c) be rich, which I wasn't at the time. I also applied to Canada but there was a long waiting list. And I didn't want to just move to Europe and see what happens. So I moved to Washington.

When I checked with a supplier from China, they noted that there were discussions about tariffs but at that time the details were not known.
I suspect that in the future, this will be applied during the checkout process like other sites are doing. It will simply be the way things are done making things easier for shippers in the states when the product arrives. I suspect that the uncertainty discussed now will become a thing of the past once these processes are put in place, making this discussion a thing of the past.

Can you have it shipped to Canada and then collect it yourself.
Sometimes you can say that you bought something used in Canada and avoid tariffs.

It depends on the strain. So no its not always 100% fatal.

BTW, nice catch that we are supposed to be enemies, so we take our eyes off of facts and Science and what is real. Off of commonalities, shared goals, and a sense of unity. One can give voice to the malevolent furies of this country...

I guess I have to learn more about the Chit-Chat Zone. I got an email saying there are new posts in the thread. I clicked on the link, which took me to the new posts (in the middle of the page of posts). Having never been exposed to this "Chit-Chat Zone", I missed that (small) indication at the *top* of the page. Thanks for the info. Well, at least now I know to click on "Ignore Thread"...
For covid, no, for de-worming animals (including humans) it's effective (and cheap) I believe.
I don't mind people taking ivermectin for anything they want, even in doses that are way higher than what is considered safe as poisoning is rare. Link. I don't mind people not taking vaccines either. However I do not take ivermectin for covid and I do get a yearly covid shot at the same time as the flu shot because I believe my symptoms will be milder. My kids got al the vaccines the health department recommended, in part because I have more faith in doctors than some people here and because I do remember the effects of polio.
For those who don't trust mainstream medicine, I offer you my thoughts and prayers.
