Temp Question

Im thinking about going to a 24v system in my RV, Currently I have 400ah in batteries at 12v, 1k solar, Inverter and such. Will the victron battery temp sensor stop charging on a 24 to 12v DC to DC converter? The batteries i have do not have low temp protection. I dont want to purchase a new 12v battery if i dont have to. All my equipment minus the batteries are victron products.

Temp sensor on a smart shunt?
It can be configured to stop charging, yes.
