OK, posting this here for thoughts & opinions.

I have to replace my FLA battery bank, 24VDC, 20Khw Gross storage. No problems with DIY electronics. While looking at various options and leaning towards 8x 400AH, or 16x 200AH LifePO4 I came across a DEAL ! 2 Tesla Model S battery module, 48V, 250Ah, 10.6kWh 24kW, 888 Panasonic 18650 for $3300 CAD and it's within drivable distance too. (Tested & Checked BTW)

Quick math (keeping mind 'Canadian Dollars') to buy LifePO4's as indicated above comes pretty close to the 3300 ! cells alone and then S&H, Duties & Taxes as applicable of course. Given that, "All IN" pricing it adds up very fast indeed.

The Question for thoughts & opinions.
Does anyone see any negatives in regards to using the S Packs configured in 24V over LifePO4 ?
Is there any trade offs to be concerned with ?
Anything in particular to watch for ?

One last ponderance ? While I can get these two now, it may be possible to get more later if I want/need to expand. Therefore I am considering options for a BMS which could handle these two but 1 or 2 more later on if need be. I hate buying things twice. Suggestions & Recommendations for Known Good products is much appreciated !

Thanks
