Testing Overkill BMS before LiFePO4 batteries arrive

Hi,
So I just received my Overkill 4S BMS but my batteries aren't even on the radar yet and could be into June before I see them (ordered via Michael)

I'm afraid my Overkill BMS return period will be long over before the batteries get here so I'm wondering if there's a way to test it before then just to make sure it works normally?

Can I test it using Lead Acid batteries?

I'm not sure if the Overkill has settings for lead acid batteries, but I do know that Steve @OverkillSolar has an almost bulletproof guarantee on this
BMS. Even if it's your fault and you fry it, he'll replace it.

You know, JUST before I saw your post, I pulled out the papers included with my Overkill BMS and yup, it said replacement for life....no matter how you mess it up.

That's one of the best warranties I've ever seen.

I would not test on lead acid batteries. Be patient and wait for the real deal. Focus on your supplies and battery box to be ready for assembly.
