Hi folks I am Randy and I travel with Tenzin the service dog ?‍?
I have a 2000 allegro bus I am looking to run off grid without burning fuel.
I would like to have power to run ac.
I think I have enough room for a 48 volt system.
I am going on the road full time and try and move between wheeling spots.
I would like have ideas on it a 36 or 48 will fit my needs.
I am also open to any ideas on updating the bus systems.
The bus has been left untouched so I am sure the 20 year old systems have room for improvement.
My house batteries are on there last legs.
I am thinking a 1000 watt propane gen as a stop gap instead of running the 4500 watt gen just to charge batteries and have lights.
It is our house and I like to keep it simple as possible.

Thanks !

Link #5 for available solar in our area. Link #1 in my signature to conduct an energy audit where you identify all of your loads and hours/day you wish to run. From there, you can size a system.

From there you can size your system. A/C is a killer in most cases.
