As Signature Solar and other redistributors significantly move up their prices the local Chinese distributors are holding Firm on their super low prices.
Eco Worthy and Vartrer seem to be restocked and holding Prices Firm while I noticed today that new players have joined in with All in One system, Battery and Inverter and they are selling 10Kw Inverter with 15Kwh batteries for $2500 on eBay.
This is not a product endorsement, I am just letting people know what is going on.

As I said in the other thread, I was very curious to see where the prices on the cheap Chinese components land.

If they remain around the same price despite tariffs, that would certainly indicate to me they must have not finished the race to the bottom yet...

It's also not going to surprise me if they just take a while to adjust prices.

I would not buy it just based on having all my eggs in one basket and if this thing fails you know it's going to fail spectacularly 🔥 Still it would be fine for someone who has it away from their house in an enclosure.
They have an active balancer upgrade kit and a EV Grade A cell upgrade for an extra $800. I suspect the stock unit probably comes with Gangfeng type Telecom batteries like most of the other low budget packs.

The shipping and tarrif fees that aren't included with that price probably make a WORLD of difference.
I am thinking an extra $1500 on the price. It's so low of a price that the Tariff is going to be around $500.
The shipping might be $1000? I suspect it will be available from the Docan US warehouses in a few weeks or maybe a month.

That's a lot of capacity. But for those who are going to have to meet a NEC code inspection, 46KWH is more than code allows in one location. But this is getting pretty close to the $60/KWH for LFP which was forecast.
If I was buying it I would pay the extra $800 and get the EV Cells. I would first have to find out what brand they are but Docan mostly sells EVE cells, so if that is what is inside it would be great.

Last year I saw the Tewaycell batteries at extremely good prices. I tried researching their quality but found little about them. I suspect that they were cheap for a reason. I wonder what they are going for now? They had some nice units, with about 400Ah of storage at 51.2V, with built-in charger and inverter, all for about a couple thousand dollars (sold in Thailand). But about the time I went to contact the online seller for details, the listings abruptly disappeared, leaving me to wonder if the online marketplace had cancelled their account for reasons of fraudulent dealings or if they had simply sold out that quickly.

That shouldn't be that heavy. My 15kwh packs are 100lb each, so that should be 300lb of cells plus maybe 100lb of materials, so 400lb. My exwife weighs more than that.
A 280Ah cell weighs around 11.9 lbs.

16 of them would be about 190 lbs.

The big boy has 48 of them.

Then I must be eating my wheaties, because I was able to deadlift my 16s packs onto the shelves. That's when I was assuming they were 100lb. Now i'm not so confident about building my next pack and not being able to lift them.

That's why I bought a hydraulic lift table. Game changer!

Yes, but we all age, I can't do what I did 30 year ago either.
