I am waiting to hear if the present heatwave has had any adverse effects on roof top solar systems. So if you have a rooftop solar system and live in the Pacific Northwest can you let me know what effects if any have occurred. Your experience will most likely help all of us in the designing or upgrading of rooftop solar system given the fact that this is likely to occur more often. At this minute the effects of Hurricane Elsa is being felt here in the Leeward Islands and next week we may have a more direct threat to us with another weather system. The world weather is changing and getting worse. We must prepare for the worst when the worst becomes the norm.

115 in the Pacific northwest isn't much different than 115 in Southern California, Arizona, etc.

The solar works, panels are slightly less efficient due to the high heat.

Mine sat out on my trailer without issue, waiting to be installed.

Us PNW folks definitely aren't built for that, whew.

Thank you. It is nice to know that the solar system withstood the effects unlike what I have been reading that the utility grid in the PNW had adverse effects.
