I saw the promising work being done with Thorium reactor/batteries on a Tesla type channel on YouTube. They seemed to say that a sodium/Thorium reactor battery outputs DC current...?? or does it still need to do a steam system and generator...? They were talking about small reactors that would replace the batts in a vehicle/truck/micro plant/ and as little as 1 gram of thorium which is not a rare substance ...could keep a reactor going for years.Thorium outputs only rays that are far less damaging to health than uranium.
and that it is somewhat self regulating in that the reaction dissipates when the heat build up is increasing too much.. anyone know about this????Is this a steam setup or not?
