Thoughts on + & - cable placement from CC to Battery or Bus Bar?

Was just having a discussion with my panel supply guy / his dad is qualified electrician / solar designer, about what placement he thought best for the cables from the Charge Controller to the battery.
I wanted his thoughts on if it were any better one way or the other to either connect at the Bus Bar or the batteries them self directly.
If that later what placement to connect at? Would placing the positive at one end of the battery bank and the negative at the other end help with a long term better overall balance with a BMS LifePO4 battery?

Or just connect at the Bus Bar and if so, would you connect at opposite ends of Bus bars? Or no difference?

Our configuration is 3 100 ah LifePO4 24v in parallel.
What are your thoughts as I realize there are conflicting views?
I am hoping to hear both sides.
Thanks

Once there is a bus connected to the batteries in a balanced manor, I would connect everything to the bus or what is the point.
Largest loads on the bus closest to the battery connection. This might be the inverter more than solar controller.

Shouldn't be any difference. Bus bars provide clean terminal connections without stacking too much on the battery lugs, which some batteries are impossible to attach anything else to.

Use quality bus bars, properly rated.

If you have a measurable difference in voltage from bus bar to battery, something is probably wrong with your wire sizing or connections.
