I was sent these promo by Maybow Yen from Shezhen XiHo Energy Technology Co.,Ltd (xihobattery.com). When I asked why they were so cheap she said "The biggest reason is the inventory in the market. Some batteries with lower capacity have low production and supply is less than demand, so the price will rise.". Does anybody have experience with this vendor? Thanks

Given the pricing of the ecoworthy 165ah 12V batteries it's not out of the realm of possibility. But I'm guessing ddp shipping will be a significant sum versus cost of cells.

Why not? All you have to do is connect ± to - , add a few wire leads and a couple cables. It's pretty easy.
These prices are possible: at the warehouse in China. Now you have to add shipping to it, and any taxes/duties. Let them quote you a DDP price(read up about Incoterms).

If the batteries come with bus bars of the correct size then you only need to make/buy wires between battery 8/9 and to connect to the entire battery itself. There are a lot of threads on how to build your own battery.
I think real reason is Chinese manufacturers are panicking over potential tariffs on Jan 20th. They are trying to unload as much inventory as possible before then. I would bet they are stock pilling warehouses here in the US as well to get the inventory here ahead of a deadline.
I love how cheap things are getting!
