Topic Generalization

Can we generalize some topics because there are things that transcend multiple categories and thus are hard to find the right home for. So, for instance, a General DIY Battery category. To give an example, I'd like to begin a thread on dealing with issues of cells or batteries in parallel. This transcends chemistry and applies to both building packs and banks.

It would also help if some of these categories were just merged. There is a lot of scrolling right now.

Yes its hard especially if you start a thread in one of the below the fold forums. I would start your thread in everything else storage and then maybe tag some of the usuals so it can get some action.
