Yes the law is the law, and you come here illegally as a non visa , or non paperwork to be allowed into the country. Then you have already trespassing.
Go ahead, try to fly or boat into a country any other country without legal proper docs or and or id. Bet your not allowed in to that country. Just try going into Canada or Mexico with out proper and legal docs. You will be turned around at the border. At the airlines if you do not have proper docs you won't fly to another country.
Bottom line, you enter illegally, you have already crossed the law, and subject to arrest and deportation.
