Hi everyone, I've been followings this forum for a good while, seems to be a very helpful place to be in!

I've got a hybrid inverter that I installed myself (Sofar HYD-3600-ES). It's been working in pass-through mode for a while, and I've been monitoring energy consumption in my home.

Recently, I purchase a new Uhome LFP 5000 5kWh battery and attempted to connect it to the inverter, without much luck. Looks like it's facing BMS communication issues. On the inverter, I selected "General Lithium" as battery type, it detected the battery voltage but displayed a Fault message on screen, with the red alert light turned on. In the events there's a "ID52 BMS disconnected" message.

I came across indications that selecting "PYLON" as battery type is what others did to establish successful connection of Uhome batteries. So I tried that, the Fault error went away for a short while, I was able to view battery temperature, voltage in the Solarman app, and the inverter screen looked apparently ok like this:

But moments later the fault light turned on again and the Events showed "ID52 BMS disconnected" as well as "ID85 Battery Low" messages:

I understand this is about GMS communication issues, and related to configuration settings but I'm struggling to get the correct configuration for this to work. I haven't touched the dip switches on the battery, they came as this:

I also double checked the cable connection, used the cable which came with the inverter as well as built a custom longer cable for my use case. Still no luck.

I would very much appreciate some direction as this is my first setup, please. Uhome states compatibility with Sofar inverters, I emailed them but it looks like they take time to respond. And I'm looking to get this up and running.

Please, and thank you so much for giving me a hand!
Alex
