Trying to destory my SCC's: I can't do it!

What happens if my battery's BMS kicks in protection due to overvoltage, or any other reason? Is this the same as the SCC being disconnected from a battery?

Depends on the BMS. Most likely, it will prohibit charging but continue to allow discharge. In case of undervoltage the other way around. Temperature issues could disable both, effectively disconnecting the charger and load.
