Two 100w vs. 1 200w for RV use?

Newbie here. Any advantages/disadvantages for using one 200w LiFeP04 battery vs. two 100w batteries in an RV trailer setup? Thanks for any response and apologies if this is redundant.
 
I believe you mean Ah.

Some drop ins have a bms that's not compatible with parallel/series connection. You'd have to check before purchasing.

I'd prefer the single for wiring simplicity if the cost is comparable.
 
For some reason, 200Ah is ALWAYS higher per Ah than 100Ah... even if the same parts are used...
 
2 in parallel for me to have adequate current draw for a peaky load I have.

Getting ready to convert that to 2 in series for 24V when new Multiplus arrives

if you have an inverter (or ever will have) you need to make sure the BMS's can provide the amps for the inverter. Many 200Ah Batteries only have a 100a bms, so if you needed 200amps for you inverter - you would need two 100Ah batteries in parallel.
