But the sales guy said it was fine!Maybe it's just temporary. Because it's obvious that the roof needs replacing, very soon.
I've been walking on my panels for a few years. I try to stay on the frames as much as possible. But I have never had any issues. All of my panels are ground-mounted, so it was not an issue for me, however, do installers typically stand on the panels while doing the installation?
Wow! They're much stronger than I imagined. When installing mine, I was constantly paranoid I'd damage, crack, or shatter them, so I handled them with kid gloves!I've been walking on my panels for a few years. I try to stay on the frames as much as possible. But I have never had any issues.
I've seen Will rolling something like a pressure washer across them. lol
Careful if you ever get bifacials. I'd worry about a cat walking on those flexible things.I've been walking on my panels for a few years. I try to stay on the frames as much as possible. But I have never had any issues.

I wouldn't put bifacials on the roof. And I wouldn't need to walk on a ground mount. But I would expect twice the glass to be twice as strong.Careful if you ever get bifacials. I'd worry about a cat walking on those flexible things.
Mine flex like playing cards. Also they are the only panels I have ordered that arrived shattered.I wouldn't put bifacials on the roof. And I wouldn't need to walk on a ground mount. But I would expect twice the glass to be twice as strong.
Maybe I'm wrong.
Interesting. I was fixing to get some bifacials to put on top of an RV, just because they would look better, since they would mount on some rails up there from the factory. They'd sit several inches above the roof, so it seems like something flexible might not be a good idea with a 70 mph wind under them. Not that it moves very often.Mine flex like playing cards. Even the Aionrise 360watts that had forklift damage only had a corner busted. The bifacials with no packaging damage showing were shattered when they arrive.
The flex is ungodly on them compared to normal panels from my experience. Don't trust them but they do work well
Once on the racks I couldn't tell that much but they sure felt flimsy moving them to the racks. I was actually worried about how I grabbed them to move them. Again after I bolted them to the racks they seem fairly firm.Interesting.
