Unable to update JK BMS....

I can connect to the BMS using the USB to RS485 and connect o the BMS.
I have PB2A16S20P, V15 as shown in the bottom image which is taken from the mobile app. as you can see from the upload message I do have the right firmware...
I can attempt to force it.. but equally I do not wish to brick my BMSs...

You can only update a JK PB BMS set to 01, yours is set to 00

So I cannot open again... and I've no idea why... especially given I managed once. I'm going to suspect it is because im using wine on a mac... but I got it working last time but not this time.

I've set the address to 1, rebooted and confirmed the address is 1 in the bluetooth app...
using the far right 2 RJ45 (or any of the others) it doesn't open when I connect.

Rather frustrating. Anyone else have issue with wine..

btw... I get the serial to work fine with the VEConfigure, so I can pass serial through easily enough.

You can't use the phone app and the rj45 at the same time, turn off and then on again but then only use the pc windows app.

ah ok.. I will try that explicitly... I think i only opened the phone app when it had failed...

Can I check which port this is meant to attach to? of the 4 available RJ45s?

RS485-2 , black is to PC and yellow is connection to the other batteries.

Whatever you did in post one should work again if the dip switch is set to one and not zero.

Figured it out... was a swiss cheese of misconfig...

Needed to set UART1 to JKBMS... alongside the address... rebooting to make it take effect...
Packs both now updated.
