Hello everyone! Newbie here.

I own 1995 Westfalia and after my on board charger burned and smoke me out I decided to updated the electrics little bit. I was hoping someone here can help me with the bits I am not so sure about.
The idea is following;

- Aux house battery - 2x 100ah self-heating Lithium Phosphate Renogy batteries
- DC-DC 50amp charger with MPPT (in place of old Philips charger from 95) which will have 3 sources
1) my 100 watt renogy solar panel
2) ac-dc convertor that will be in use whenever shore 110VAC is available.
3) finally current from alternator when engine is running.

I decided to have a switch between solar and ac-dc.

After studying the factory schema for a bit I decided to draw new updated one with the components I have. I will post both.
Now what I am no so sure about is to how to feed the Renogy DCDC charger from alternator. Should I be running a new wire directly from engine battery to the dcdc charger? Based on the wiring diagram (original) I am unsure whether when the engine is running is providing current to the house system therefore charging the house battery.

Original Philips charger would work off 110VAC and provide two sources
1) labeled S+ / S- in the wiring diagram labeled as 3 and 4 on Charger unit A10
2) labeled CONV POS. / CONV. NEG. 1 and 2 on Charger unit A10
If I understand correctly 1 would charger house battery and 2 would provide power to the camping system so you can run your equipment.

Any help is appreciated
