Upgrading battery system, what hardware do I need?

Current Setup
6000XP
3 - Lifepower 4 server rack batteries
Batteries are connected to busbar inside battery cage and 1/0 cable ran from busbar to inverter.

New Setup
I built 2 Yixiang battery packs with MB31 EVE 314ah cells. I think I will probably replace my current Lifepower batteries with these new battery packs.

Looking at the specs for the 6000xp, it looks like battery max discharge is 140A.
I would like suggestions on the best way to wire up my new batteries.
Can I use 2 awg wire to interconnect the 2 battery packs?
Then do I need a T-Class fuse mounted on my board and run 1/0 wire from battery to fuse. Then from fuse to inverter?
Then can I plug my chargerverter on to the battery terminals as well?

OR best I get a busbar and mount on board and then run 1/0 wire from battery to T-Class Fuse and from fuse to busbar. Then 1/0 wire from busbar to inverter.
Then connect chargeverter to busbar?

If T-Class fuse and busbar is recommended, can you please send me a link to which size/device I should get?

Thanks!

I looked at @Will Prowse mobile site for recommended hardware.
Is the Go Power FBL-200 Class T Fuse a good option?
Is the Current Connected Bus Bar a good fit for my setup?

I found a cheaper Class T Fuse and wondered if it would work in my setup.
I have some 1/0 awg wire I'd like to use for connecting batteries to inverter.
Then plan to get some 2 awg wire to connect the battery packs.

Is this a good setup?

Would use 2/0 between the batteries and bus bar. Don't use 2 awg. For this small of a system, t class fuse unnecessary.

I would just connect batteries without bus bar, straight to 6000xp. Then connect chargeverter to the other terminals on the battery. No need for bus bar here.

Thanks for your reply. That will make this install much easier! I still have 200A breaker on batteries and 200A DC breaker on the 6000XP, so I still have some protection there without t-class fuse.
But I need to upgrade to 2/0 wire from battery to inverter and also use 2/0 wire to parallel connect the batteries?

If you use 2/0 or larger, it will trip the fuse or breaker on those batteries. Yes upgrade.

Could add a fuse on the charger. Just like to be extra safe.

My battery packs have JK BMS. I need to configure its settings. Are these good settings for my battery?

JK BMS Recommended Settings for 16S 314Ah LiFePO₄

⚡ Basic Battery Parameters

ParameterValueNotes
Battery TypeLiFePO₄Do not use other chemistries.
Number of Series (S)16Matches your 16S pack.
Battery Capacity (Ah)314Set as actual rated capacity.
Balance Turn-On Voltage3.40 VBalance starts gently before full charge.
Balance Trigger Diff0.015–0.030 VKeeps cells balanced—smaller is tighter.
Cell OV Protection3.65 VMax safe voltage per EVE spec.
Cell OV Release3.55 VWhen charging resumes.
Cell UV Protection2.50 VMinimum safe voltage.
Cell UV Release2.80 VRe-enable discharge.

Is there a reference to where I can get the rest of the settings for my battery?

I charged my batteries individually up to 99%. They both sat on the charger for over an hour without reaching 100%.
I have now parallel connected them with comms. I connected the charger to the pack. I am using a EG4 chargeverter. The max voltage I can set it at is 57v, and have it set to 25a. It appears that it's charging the battery, but I haven't seen much movement in the charge in the last hour. Is it typical for it to be extremely slow to top off the battery? Do I just need to let it continue to charge?
Once charged I plan to hook it up to my 6000xp inverter. Is this as simple as hooking the dc wires to the inverter and running comm cable from the top battery CAN port to the 6000xp. Then on the 6000xp choosing the PylonTech communication?

Initial balancing of a fresh set of cells can take some time just leave them hooked up to charger.

I used the settings above and let the charger run all day today. I had the charger set to 45 amps. After about an hour of charging one of the cells hit OVP 3.650 and charger kicked off. I turned the charger off and let the cells balance for a couple hours. The cells fell to 3.4ish. I then turned the charge back on and set it to 20 amps. It ran the rest of the day and charging was limited to about an amp or 50-60 watts. None of the cells ever reached the 3.650 again. The battery voltage reached 57v, and from what I can tell that is all my chargeverter can put out, so it wasnt charging the battery any more.

Is it possible to fully top off my battery, or is this good enough? Once it's hooked up to my 6000xp, I am guessing it will be able to fully charge it when necessary. The battery shows it has another 6ah capacity, it could charge. Does the battery not show 100% because I have the SOC-100% Volt (V) set to 3.599, and the battery didn't reach that? Should I change this to a different value?

How do I get closed loop communication with my battery and 6000xp inverter?
I tried Pylon and Luxpower settings, and they don't seem to communicate

I figured it out...
For some reason the first time I made the settings it didnt take.
But I changed back to Batt Type 0 (EG4) on inverter.
Then set the JK BMS to Can LuxPowerTec.
Its appears to be communicating now.

Been running these Yixiang 314Ah Batteries for the last couple of weeks. We've had a lot of cloudy weather, so the batteries have not been able to get fully charged every day. Today was a sunny day, and I wanted to make sure the batteries got fully charged and top-balanced. The battery got to 99% charged mid-afternoon and continued to charge, but stayed at 99% for a couple of hours. In the JK BMS settings, I have the SOC-100% set to 3.449volts. Why did the battery not change to 100% once it achieved that voltage? I have it in closed-loop communication with my 6000xp. Are there some settings in there I need to look at? The solar charging ended before the battery was fully charged, so I ended up charging it the rest of the way up with my chargeverter. But my chargeverter only puts out 57v, so once the battery got to 57v, the charging slowed to a crawl, but stayed at 99% for another hour. Then, eventually, it topped out at 100% at 3.567v.
