Use AC coupled input in Gridboss or rewire panels and connect as DC to Flexboss?

We're having a Gridboss, Flexboss21, and 20ish panels installed in the next month or so (I'll add a server rack battery bank myself after install). We have an existing 10 panel Enphase array (2.7 kw) that was already on the house when we bought it (grid-tied, no battery). We'll be navigating this during a roof replacement so the existing panels will have to come down and reinstalled after the roof is done (along with the new components). With that we have some options on how we handle the old array. Looking for guidance on pros and cons of leaving the existing array as is and bringing in as AC to the GridBoss via one of the smartports vs rewiring those old panels and connecting as a DC string to the FlexBoss?

A small ac coupled array is okay. There is some ratio of ac coupled to dc coupled for functionality of the inverter. If you rewire the ac to dc, you should add RSD to each panel and that’s more added cost that you might not recover.

With that small of an existing system I don't know it's worth putting back up afterwards. Do you have space constraints or are you thinking it would be cheaper to continue using the existing panels?

Yeah, it's cheap to just re-use them. The quotes I have are basically just throwing in that remove/reinstall work since I'm adding a larger system
