I was thinking about using a simple wall wort (its a 20v, 2 amp) and plugging it into my 12v PWM controller for my small setup to charge when solar is unavailable.
I have one of those small power meters right before the PWM Solar input, but noticed when i connect the wall wort's positive and negative, there is this sort of Pulsing that happens. It briefly lights up for a split second, then shuts off.
I tried this previously with a laptop power supply and had the same result, but was surprised to see this wall wort doing the same thing.
I have a 12v Wall wort that does not exhibit this behavior, but the voltage is too low and charges at 4 watts.
Could anyone enlighten me why this happens?
