Using vehicle 110v outlet

Hi,

I have a very simple All in One Mppsolar in my 2018 Ford Transit van ( solar + shore power).

I'm looking to add an alternator charging to my 12v 100ah leisure battery.

Can I just buy a 12v charger and plug in the 110v outlet that come with my van ( dual alternator and dual battery) to charge my leisure battery when the van is running?

Any potential problem with this?

Should I go with Victron charger or NOCO Genius Charger?

Depends on what the outlet is rated for and how big of a charger you plan on getting. Otherwise its an easy solution.

There is a 70A fused DC power source in the base of the pillar behind the passenger door. I've tapped into that to power a Victron Orion DC-DC charger to a lithium battery bank. Pretty handy spot to access power for what i did.
