I need help with a Vetrer Battery that is not charging:
I sent this as gift to my Dad in Ecuador (South America) , an inverter EG4 6000xp and a Vetrer battery purchased via amazon. I am located in Texas .
My dad lived in a small house, about 350kWh per month. The system was connected by a local technician that claimed having experience installing solar systems. Neither my Dad or the technician speak English so they cannot call Vetrer customer support. I do not know the settings used in the inverter or know how to read them from the inverter to confirm that they are correct .
We have posted in the Veter Facebook groups and one person reponded that looks like that the battery is not charging maybe due to setting on the inverter.
System set up:
-EG4 6000XP
-The installed created a secondary breaker box moving the main one to the secundary and connected the inverter as the second option in the EG4 interter example in the user manual.
-Battery: Vetrer 48V 100Ah
-Charging only on the power grid
- No solar panels.
Problems:
1. Battery is charging really slow, takes 36 hours to go from 9% to 18%, see pictures.
2. We are unsure about the correct setting used by the Ecuadorian technician to set the inverter. He just said that he put it in slow charge....not sure if this is true.
QUESTION:
1. Can you please help providing the EG4 6000xp configuration setting using a Vether battery?
2. How can my Dad access the configuration panel to confirm that all the settings are correct?
3. How long does it normally take the battery to charge using the power grid? ( power outages in Ecuador were about 3 hours twice per day)
4. Is there a way for me to check only the setting of the EG4 inverter?
