Doing some battery wiring on my boat and want to be sure I’ve got the fuse situation totally safe for my family’s sake.

(3x) 200AH 12V LiFePO4 Victron batteries in parallel, each string with a 200A MRBF fuse.

Goes through a Lynx BMS.

Then to a Victron Distributor with a 200A MEGA fuse where the main DC circuit branches off via a 2/0 cable. This powers a 2000w inverter, a fridge, lighting, and some high power intermittent sailing equipment like electric winches. The boat originally came with an 200A NH (knife blade) fuse for the main DC circuit but I’ve replaced it with the MEGA as part of this project.

The other 3 slots on the distributor feed a few other circuits but are much lower capacity so not as worried (40A solar and two 60A chargers).

Thoughts on this setup?

Do you have a disconnect? How are you charging the lithium’s?

I use the internal Lynx contactor as the disconnect. No separate disconnect switch. To charge, I use a shore power AC charger and an alternator. This portion of the system has been working well for a few years now. I’m just adding the Victron Distributor and updating the fusing now in anticipation of hooking up my new solar panels.
