Very new to solar but started purchasing items, not sure of the final specs of the whole system.

We were hit with very high winds and almost lost an entire row of panels. I had to get in the storm and put ratchet straps on them. A few gates were lifted on the posts and lying on the ground. I got 10 hours into the 4075r, and it has a driveline issue and cannot pick pallets of pellets. I posted in another forum, and several returned saying their 4075r had similar noise and issues :(

Sorry to hear this. Will the dealer come pick her up?

Both dealers were way overloaded in backlogs, so I took it to another dealer a town over. But from others, it sounds like it could require a lot of work. I cannot repair the panels and gates without the tractor.

That is really terrible news. Sorry to hear it. Here is Hoping it is an easy fix.

My relatives 3025E makes a throbbing sound in the hydraulics at times but will pick up it's rated weight.

Dealer gave it back and said run it until something stops functioning , then it will be easy for us to fix and you do have a ten year warranty, so that is what he is doing.

A 4075 should pick up a full ton pallet no problem with a 440? FEL quick attach forks mounted.

Measured at 500 mm ahead of pivot (V)

2222 lb to full height.

Maybe just a pressure relief adjustment will dial it in.?

Time for a skid steer. so much lifting capability.

Based on the specs, it should be super easy; let me find the video I uploaded, and I will link it.

That doesn't sound good at all.

Are you within 10 days of sale to get the "JD promise" return for refund?
I'm a couple of days past that. Others have reported the same issue, and it is much louder than mine. 4320 in my 7 years of owning, I only had to replace the battery.

I have rented a lot of tracked skid steers in the past. They are fantastic when I need to move a lot of dirt.

At 17 hours , I would push for a different unit. Those Deeres are expensive.

Part of that extra cost should be so the customer does not have to deal with a freak noise or a weak loader.

That tractor has so little time I would not be a happy camper either. Lot of money for a Premier Brand and it has problems that may require a split???

Deere should Step Up.

ps. with headphones on I could hear it clearly almost a high pitched screeching sound on top of the regular diesel engine tone.

When you try to lift the pallet does it make that sound? Any difference low or high RPM when trying to lift? That FEL should have no problem at all with one ton lifts.

There were no odd sounds when lifting. It barely had enough force to see the front start squatting down. The high-pitched screeching only occurs when moving forward or backward. It happens in any gear; revving while sitting still does not produce the sound. I went all over the tractor, and underneath, it had to be something internal, but it was hard to pinpoint driving. Like in the escape movies, I thought I would invite a DIY solar member over, and we could use a few belts to hold them under the tractor while I drive it down the river.

I'd be giving the dealer an earful if my hours were that low.
My primary dealer was not too great when I called; they would have to wait over a week to diagnose it. The service lady asked me multiple questions about what attachments and what I had used my tractor for. I wondered why she asked the questions, and she responded that I could have voided the warranty. I told her I had only mowed and put my pallet forks on it, and I asked how that would void the warranty. They are so close compared to the others, but I will avoid them if possible.

I opened a case with JD as well. Many report that they are replacing things from the front diff to the rock shaft, and it's not fixing the problems.

Good luck.

It's other brands too...
Last month my brother went through 3 SCAG mini skid steers until he got a good one.
1st one sprayed hydraulic oil all over his property and machine with under an hour in it; fortunately it happened when he was running it and not me 🤣.
There were 2 sets of witness marks on the fittings that leaked...
2nd one blew the pump on a customers property in a few hours
3rd one has been great.

He buys lots of equipment from the dealer so they kept swapping units for him. I would have went with a different brand after the 2nd time...

They've been having problems with absolute crap factory quality with their mowers as well. Apparently they hired a bunch of convicts ....

I'd go with a Kubota scl1000 if you need quality and reliability.

Another user reported this on their 4075r.

"Kromc5 if it's not to much trouble I would be very interested in what your dealer finds out. Mine has been at the dealer going on three weeks, still no word on the problem thanks"
Good luck.

That is crazy to have that many issues, I always ran hustler equipment, but people would always talk about the quality from scag. I would have also moved on since I would be worried about long-term reliability. Others have reported 4075r sitting at the dealers for over a month now, and I'm not sure how to approach this if I have the exact wait times and recurring issues.

The root cause is lack of accountability and pride in work.
I see it first hand daily (manufacturing). To be blunt the majority of people don't give a shit anymore, can't afford to fire people because you can't get replacements, good employees that care get disgruntled and say f it... It's scary thinking what it would be like in the next 5-10 years when the real work force is retired. ....
To top it all off the bean counters are doing everything they can to cut costs...

Sorry for the rant.

Have you pressured the dealer into giving you a loaner vehicle so you can complete your projects you need to get done? If they don't have any they could pressure JD into paying for a rental?
As long as they are acknowledging it and will fix it's probably worth waiting it out. Who knows what you'll get with another brand.
The only other option I can think of is getting them to buy it back and buying something built in early 2019 or prior...

The dealer has not responded yet, but I will stop by tomorrow. John Deere, CCMS out of Idaho, called today and said they would contact the dealer for more information. If the repairs become a long-term problem, as others have stated, I will push JD to take it back. But I would have to step up to a Kubota M4 series in this HP range. The new 2025 Kioti 7430 also looks excellent, with 3-point controls similar to JD's. But either option requires a deck over gooseneck.

How heavy are those? I have an old gmc 2500 and it’ll handle a 14k dump trailer (9500lb payload) using a standard class 5 hitch, no gooseneck needed.

Diamond c does make some sweet deck over trailers in bumper pull:

With their commercial mowers many jd dealers have a “never stop” program where they have loaner units to cover when an in warrantee mower comes in for work. But nothing for tractors that I’m aware of, at the mercy of the dealer. Maybe a demo model to be able to get the gates back on?

When watching videos, they say almost 10k with loader and filled tires. On the specs, they say 5589 to 6100 lbs. I have a 12k trailer, but both are too wide for it.

I Hope you mean a JD Tech... as far as belting them up under a tractor.

Maybe the water will carry the screeching sound better and improve their hearing a bit being put through the better sound carrying medium ..

I can't believe JD PDI has slipped this far.... Now they are laying off workers and moving some more operations to Mexico.

Maybe a dumb question , but what does CCMS stand for? I know idaho has a lot of PAPE Machinery JD Dealers

I'm unsure what that is. I almost ignored it in the junk folder as the email did not have JD in the subject. I just got back from the dealer; they stated the sounds were due to the rear driveline shield installed improperly. The bad part is that the hydraulic pump is not functioning correctly, and they may also have to replace the pump manifold behind the fuel tank.
