I looked to see if there was a Victron forum. Sorry if this is in the wrong place.
My charger is not charging. Shows 0.0 amps current. Briefly shows 0.8 amps then back to zero.
When unplugging the charger completely then plugging everything back in the charger briefly goes to bulk, then quickly to absorption.
I checked the 15 amp inline fuse and it is good.
Back ground
I have (2) Big battery 24v 170ah batteries in parallel. Both batteries connect to buss bars with inline fuses. The charger leads connect to the buss bar.
I also have (2) EG4 24v 200ah batteries in parallel. These connect to a separate buss bar with inline fusses. I have also tried charging these batteries by connecting the charger leads to the buss bar.
The charger is recognizing the battery voltage, but not sending out amps.
I get the same results for each set of batteries which leads me to believe the fault is with the charger.
I tried erasing history in the charger. Didn’t help.
We recently had a prolonged electricity outage, and both sets of batteries were in use. my smart shunt shows both batteries at about 50% so I know they need charging.
Do I need a new charger? Would like to stick with victron due to the Bluetooth connectivity between components.
