Good Day Guys
Attach is an overview of my design idea, based on the Victron VW Van installation.
I am planning to use the following:
Multiplus 12/2000/80
MPPT150/45
BMV712
BP100
BP65
CCGX
50A Buckboost
Lynx Busbar system
Phoenix Smart charger 50/3
8kWh LiFeYPo4 12V Battery Bank

My question, do I really need the battery Protect between the Buckboost and my Busbar system? I can control the Buckboost from my BMV712 or CCGX I would imagine by using the relay outputs, and my MPPT and Phoenix charger via Ve-Direct

What would be your opinions on this?

Can't quite make out the diagram, but as the battery protect is to protect the expensive battery sounds like a good idea. I suppose if you have a BMS with a low voltage cutoff you'd be okay. Let's see if anyone else has thoughts on it.

The two batteries have a build-in BMS and communicate with the CCGX via Canbus
