Hi all, im working my way towards my first off grid solar system, my first anything system really.

Has anyone had any experience with the the Victron Easy Solar ?

One of the things that appeals to me is the 5 year guarantee, I can also buy one locally.

Well ive bought the victron easysolar 24/3000 150/70, some batteries and panels and am making electricity.
I hooked up the 3, 250w/37v 8.25amp(i think) panels that i had on my 12v system, they were in parallel so the results were pretty average so i connected them in series and got a lot better results.
My question is im going to install 3 more panels, the easysolar has 4 mc4 connectors, would it be better to connect the other 3 panels to the 2 unused mc4's or connect the panels in a 3s 2p and just use the 2 mc4's that im using?

So after much googleing i have found what seems to be the answer to my question.
The mc4 connections all join to common bus bars inside the unit so connecting to them is joining in parallel.
