Is this good insurance: https://www.solar-electric.com/vict..._UKopimDYuJtSN5ecZiOLp0QCek4J14BoC36kQAvD_BwE

I am building a battery bank of two, 24v, 100ah lifepo4 battery packs (a total of 16, 32.v, 100ah CALB lifepo4 cells). I am using two, 100ah (actually, 300ah capacity) 'ANT' BMSs with bluetooth app which is pretty good considering they are $100 each.

I am considering incorporating the Victron Battery Balancer just in case one/either of my two BMS take a nap and never wake up.

Thoughts? Alternatives? One alternative I have executed is keeping two (2) spare AND BMS. Another would be getting better (more expensive) BMSs.

Also, is there a better, whole system solution than the Victron Battery Balancer. Again, likely more $$$ but not out of the question. I've heard on the Schoolie forums there is a new tech solar BMS that integrates the BMS and solar charge controller "the new SBMS0 plus DSSR20 ".

Hoping you guys can help me with this question. How many of these would I need for a 48v bank with eight 200ah Renogy AGM batteries? Looks like six? Any better options. I’m installing the new MPP LVX6048 next week and want to make sure my bank is balanced beforehand. I didn’t balance the batteries as I progressively added new ones to get to what I have now. I had four of them in service (added at different stages) and added four straight out of the box. I’m worried they were all at different levels when I finalized the bank (did not actively balance them).
