So, I'm imminently about to connect my system together and am very nervous about connecting up the Inverter. I've got a reference diagram from Dacian (Electrodacus) that best represents my system and spotted this rotary switch with the 15ohm resistor shown to be running in series at position '1' before being disconnected as the switch continues via 'all' to position '2'. Would this be to 'pre-charge' and discharge the inverter capacitors ????? If so, how long would you keep it at position '1' for energising & de-energising the inverter..????

The switch will pre-charge the capacitors. If you leave it in position one for a second you will be fine.
