Victron is Over-priced Eurotrash. Why would anybody buy Victron over an AiO?

To clarify, are you saying that you also bought your VE.Direct JST cables from Duppa?

https://www.duppa.net/shop/ve-direct-jst-cable/?v=0b3b97fa6688

When I bought my Duppa converters, I did not realize that I also needed to buy the VE.Direct JST cables. Dummy me. I could have saved shipping and the three weeks it me took to get the units.
Yes their 2m ones are only 6 Euros. Ordered 4 of them as the shipping was already being paid. I already had victron ve direct cables prior to hitting the 3 ve direct port limit of a cerbo s.

Power container with a twist, not a massive battery system but has huge array of solar panels that swing out of each side for hand deployment, along with generator.

Victron direct uses JST connectors.

So the duppa cables are just cheap options to victron branded cables, you don’t need to use his cables with his converter.

I like the round corners.
Made some tweaks to the models but didn't test them, should be good.
let me know if there's any issues
edit - added revb files

So do you have a converter to toss in or are you just going off dimensions of the board?

Also does the top cover clip into the base? If so nice.

The shed got smurffed!

I finally got the shed up and running after getting it moved to build a garage. Since we moved it, I didn’t want to and couldn’t trench a new electrical line due to the ground being frozen solid so the next best thing - take it off grid. I’m in the process of redoing the Sprinter van and I had two 300Ah LifeBlue batteries from that project that I replaced. These have been rock solid unlike these Epoch 460 Ah V2’s batteries which I chose as a replacement. Man do I regret that decision!

I’m sticking to the blue that I already know in the van. I already had an extra 12v Victron 3k inverter, solar panels and a bunch of Victron components in the garage since I have a bad habit of searching “Victron” on Craigslist. Since I had a bunch of the 12v components laying around is the reason why I went 12v’s. 1500 watts of solar fit on the roof too.

If you just want a free case just ask lol
I'm waiting on new filament, this one has gone bad. I had to make an other adjustment USB cables would fit through the hole.
I mean I have a case but I’d be willing to help out with r&d

Did find this thread talking about poor performance of 450 over a 150 in low ambient light. Looks like in their search for better partial shading performance they crippled general non shaded low ambient light performance. Why couldn't they just use the tracking software they use on the 150s and 250s....wonder if I can downgrade to that older firmware that worked well with low ambient light. Firmware updates seem to be constantly tinkering with the rs line including multi rs.

And then for the micro users with small Victron systems, the basic Bluetooth functionality in many Victron products is great. Their Victron Connect mobile app is just fantastic and updated almost monthly (twice this month).
This is the one reason I will never buy another victron unit. I've never had a bluetooth anything that is just plain junk until my first victron. Wouldn't connect to ios or android for more than a few seconds no matter how close the device was! Needless to say, that little overpriced blue turd was returned to seller. Later, I see a vlogger on youtube illustrate how his phone has to be IN THE SAME ROOM as a victron shunt just to connect. From now on, I'll be "gambling" with those competitively priced brands which have bluetooth easily nailed.... the absolute simplest part of a device.

Not sure what your issue was but never have had issues with the blue tooth. I can connect to my smart solar controllers even from another floor of the house and see data updated. No other system compares to Victrons software especially the data updating frequency. The cloud based Victron monitoring system updates 3x-5x faster then even the LCD screen right on the front of EG4 18kPV that I also have.

Actually to me bluetooth is a joke for data other than being right beside anything bluetooth or using it to setup wifi. I don't hold that against victron. Bluetooth sucks for anything at any real distance.

Once you get cerbo gx that's when victron's equipment shines. Using the cerbo units I have 2 houses worth of victron equipment feeding mqtt data into my home assistant setups and its very fast, super reliable (forget its even doing it honestly) allowing you to access any of the victron gear data anytime.

Great stuff.

I still think their inverter stuff is way overpriced but I like their support equipment !

Matter of fact, I was HOPING it would work. I even chatted on this site about it for a week or so, but in the end, it's not worth fighting a problem that isn't even a problem in $10 bluetooth junk speakers... they connect flawlessly and at distance. If victron can't get bluetooth right, there's 0% chance I'm going to count on them to get the serious things right... but maybe that's just me. No sheep here, I think for myself no matter how much the crowd gets together to back a bad idea or product.
