Will be upgrading a 5th wheel from FLA to LFP batteries, along with a Multiplus 3000 12v 120a replacing the current AC/DC converter and 1200w inverter.
Completing the install in stages would make things easier and maintain RV use during nice weather.

Any issues with connecting AC In/Out to the Multiplus without being connected to batteries, and will the transfer switch pass-through AC power?
I'll do the same thing during short storage intervals with a disconnect switch to maintain batteries below 100% SOC, while allowing AC to a residential fridge.
If this works fine, what position should the panel switch on the Multiplus be in when disconnected from batteries?

Welcome to the forum!

I think the Multiplus switch could be in any position if the batteries are disconnected. I don't know this for sure though. It's just something I noticed a couple weeks ago when testing my system. I had the generator running and there was AC power to the rest of the trailer (through the inverter) in both the inverter on and inverter off positions.

Tested and confirmed, Victron Multiplus will pass AC power without seeing batteries. (It was configured with a battery on the bench)
Turned the charger off using a MK3-USB and there is a low battery error, but it will work fine until my 4/0 cable arrives and is installed.
