Victron Orion XS DC to DC???

Last piece of the project. Everything solar in my camper is Victron, except the DC to DC charger which is Renogy. I bit the bullet and bought a ORION XS 50a DC to DC charger. Ready to install it but a bit confused on the remote switch options. I know I can disable the Orion through the Victron app on my phone, but I want to be able to turn it off with a switch like I did with the Renogy. The switch is already installed in the control center and I'd like to use it. #1, do I simply remove the jumper between "REMOTE L-H" and install a single pole single through switch across L and H? I read somewhere that the voltage between these two contacts is 70V. This is the spec on the switch currently installed....SPST, 16 Amp @ 125-250 VAC, 3/4 H.P. @ 125-250 VAC, 10 Amp @ 14 V (T), 3 Amp @ 125V(L) UL/CSA/VDE approved...Am I good to go?

What's the DC rating of the switch? DC ratings are often much lower than the AC rating. But yes, assuming your switch can take the voltage, you just wire it inline (example A from the manual).

The XS manual says "the voltage tolerance between L- & H-pin: +/- 70VDC". Since it says "tolerance", my interpretation is that those pins can take up to 70V input, not that there is necessarily 70V across the pins (you can hook up the XS with input to H to activate the remote from the external charge source). My guess is when switching L & H directly, it's probably at the "output" voltage.

Yes, the H and L are interfaced to high impedance semiconductor logic circuits, the current is much less than 1mA. If you connect a voltage source to either input the limit is 70 volts
