Just bought the Victron 48/1200 and have been searching quite a while trying to find out the
description of one of their parameters. On the settings page, it's called the 'Charge Detect' but
I can't find out what it actually means and am a bit concerned since it's an adjustable setting.
Do any of you folks know what it means and maybe best setting for Lifepo4 batteries? Will feel really
dumb if it's staring me in the face, lol.
Thanks in advance!

Just a side note if you're thinking about buying one of these units: Output load is shown in VA and
cannot be set to show Watts....strange and not easy to convert VA to Watts

I think it's your low battery voltage setting.
The Charge Detect setting is used to automatically reset the inverter after it has shut down due to low voltage 3 times consecutively. This value can be safely set just below the float charging voltage.

Here is what they say in the Victron manual (linked below):

No help here, just questions.

It seems the lowest price for these is $431 correct?

Long shot but do you know how it does with RFI (radio frequency interference)?

I'm thinking about one of these vs a Samlex PST-1500-48 which is supposed to be good regarding RFI.
