I have a Quattro 12/5000/220-100/100 120V VE.Bus. It has worked pretty well since I bought my boat two years ago. The previous owner didn't have any issues with it either. The unit was purchased in Chile in 2016.

I turn the unit off each night to save battery power. Last week, when I tried to turn it back on, the unit was non-responsive. I saw no lights. I have checked the 400 amp fuse and voltage at different points and the unit should be getting power. I purchased an MK3 dongle that I plugged into the unit and it wasn't able to wake it up.

Has anyone dealt with anything similar?

Check:
  1. You have battery voltage at the inverter terminals?
  2. Have you checked resistance across the fuse?
  3. Have you checked resistance between battery (-) to inverter (-) and battery (+) to inverter (-)?
  4. Is the AC output isolated, i.e., no chance of a short on the output?
  5. Is the AC input isolated, i.e., no chance of a short on the input?
  6. Is everything unplugged from the VE.Bus ports?
This is the pre-RMA process dealers use:
