I have a battery bank of 4 LiFePo4 12V 100Ah in parallel set up as per Victron, below. I want to use a charger to charge the batteries at night and use solar to charge them during the day. The idea is to run a few items during the day, have solar do as much charging as possible during daylight & at night have a timer engage the charger to keep the batteries topped off.

I have a Victron smart shunt which is shown how to be connected below. I want to connect it so it registers the solar input, the charger input, and the outflow from the battery bank to the load.

I'm not sure where in the negative lead to place the shunt so as to read this. I'm thinking the shunt should be placed in-between the junction of the small buss bar that the 4 cables are connected to, and the negative leads from the charger, solar bank, & inverter are connected to the distal lug on the shunt. Is this correct?
Thanks.
