Victron SmartSolar Charge Controller 100/20 for 12v 335w LG Panel?

for 12 volt applications probably borderline, at 24 volts would be ok. With borderline, it would work fine, but coud be overpaneling. Victron can be overpaneled, but I’m unfamiliar with the specs of your panel or the overpaneling for the victron.

Do you have a 12V or 24V system?

A 20A SCC is good for about 280W on a 12V system and about 560W on a 24V system.

So you are giving up some power if you have a 12V battery with a 20A SCC.

Ok, thanks! I’ll go with the 100/30 as I have a 12v battery system.

You'll also want to check the actual voltages on your panel. Victron states they need the Vmp from the panel to be at least 5V higher than your battery voltage.

Even the Victron controllers do not like being up near max. If you have room for more panels go for the 100/50. You wont regret it.

I started with 200w, went to 400w and now am at 690w. Ended up buying three different controllers.

Pump all the values into the mppt wizard and see what it says. I use a 100/20 for a 530w panel but it's for a 24v battery system.

Talking about future expansion. If you have room you will likely expand, having power is addictive.

You say 100/20 for a 24 volt system but you said you have a 12 volt system on your boat.

For a 12 volt system You will need double the amperage the calculator is saying for 24 volts.

I have both 12 and 24 but my solar feeds into my 24v pack.
