Interesting car magazine test on electric cars in winter conditions: Pretty wild results on braking test on a icy surface, VW ID Buzz takes 220 meters to stop when most of the other cars average around 90 meter braking distance. According to article this is common problem with VW/AUDI MEB platform.
possibly because of rear drum brakes?

Article is in Finnish but graphics are probably pretty much self-explanatory:

220 meter braking distance from 60km/hour is almost same as no brakes at all

I bet you that the diversity hire that programmed the feature did not think of it :)

That is a shame…. The new vw ev van looks interesting.7368EB8D-A109-4B79-AB3B-0AF3AB5162B6.jpeg1250F149-F0B9-4722-9176-6E8C16830075.jpegBE7551AB-8370-4A61-8948-E5EF14C04E35.jpeg

I hate ev that have those weird steering wheels. That one might be able to live with. Why can’t they just put a standard round steering wheel in them? Haha ???
