Warning when buying EVE LF280K Grade-A cells with new terminal type!

@Lampard Lei Whatever you say the cells in the first post are clearly not packaged well, and clearly suffer from compression damage.

The automotive cells I received last week purchased from a UK reseller clearly have different, and far superior packaging - see my posts in this thread.

Has the packaging changed?
Has both sets of cells been repackaged into different boxes?

With regard to the terminals the general public haven't seen them before (all the ones I've seen either have a threaded hole, or a welded stud), so its very easy to regard them as a new style.

If it’s true that the damage to the cell terminals arose solely due to repackaging of the cells by a third party reseller, then the OP’s complaint does seem unnecessary, but I wonder if the OP was aware of this at the time they posted, as they certainly seemed to believe the packaging was original Eve boxes.

To summarize, we thank the customer for doing business with EVE, but the customer has to complain in an honest and professional way. Anything he feels not right, he can write directly to the audit deparment(the contact information has offered as before and listed again below)

Does 18650batterystore order their EVE cells directly from you? If so, how are they packaged?

We have two packaging options when ordering direct from Eve. We have the wooden crates (with 40 inside) , or theres a 4 cell box option with 20mm foam on top which we deem as insufficient. Therefore we order the wooden crates, and repack them in thicker foam in the UK. Its a lot more work, and higher cost - but we've sent thousands of cells out now and not had any damages.

Customers are investing a large amount of money in these prismatics, and it shouldn't be for them to worry about the packaging, that's our job.

So the 4 cells per box are done by EVE as shown in OP post #1?

So that explains why my packaging was so good and my cells were delivered in perfect condition - see post here.

@Ben@Fogstar Thanks for an excellent service.

@Lampard Lei Why is Eve incapable of packing the cells like Fogstar do?

I've used Fogstar in the UK, no idea if they ship outside the UK though.
I see they don't. But, also, it can be an unfortunate nightmare now ordering stuff from the UK. I bought a rock tumbler for my kids earlier this summer, and FedEx took forever to get it cleared out of customs here. Weird thing being that in the end, I didn't get charged any VAT or customs (crossing fingers that the bill isn't going to show up in the mail some day!)

It's an absolute nightmare for us and european customers at the moment. We're looking for warehouse space in Europe so our customers don't have to deal with the hassle of importing.

My name is Lampard Lei. I am the so called sales manager in his essay. Although I disagree with every word he said, I swear to defend his right to speak, but every word he said will be refuted with facts. The customer's original words are in italic, my comments are in bold. Due to the limitation of maximum 1000 words. I will reply in several times.
Excellent, totally professional postings. Thank you.

Lampard Lei:
Thank you for coming to us here. Your information is appreciated.

"Thank you for your information. We will give it all the attention it deserves."

My cells have arrived. I've been dreading opening the boxes since I saw this thread.

My order arrived in 8 boxes, 7 small boxes and one 1 large. The larger box seemed to have a bloated top so I photographed that before I opened it suspecting there may be issues, and sure enough there was. The cells in the smaller boxes that use different packaging seem ok. But in the bigger box all of the terminals just aren't straight.

How much of a bend is an issue and can they be bent back? Feedback would be very much appreciated.
