Well. I may turn them on one at a time. Except the one that seems shorted. That one I will leave for last.

It's not touching any wire... You need eyes to see well. Lol
Even if that cable is touching that case its not going to make the 2nd from the bottom battery error out. Its power light turns red so its the 2nd from the bottom having problems.

Tried calling like 7 times. No answer.I'd contact eco-worthy and tell them you want to return it for one without the pyrotechnics feature
If they give you any problems tell them you don't mind advertising the feature you didn't order....
Left a message like 4 days ago when I didn't receive a manual along with the server rack; took me like 2 hours and a few tries to get the thing right. A friend of mine and me put it together.
Just this morning I got a reply from eBay on compensation on the dented one; they offered me an discount. I agreed to 30% or return; haven't heard back yet.
And now this fireworks happening. What a show. Im all tense up and tired.. it sucked the life out of me.

Yeah, take them outside separately, power them up, measure the voltage and polarity, and open them up to see if they’re all wired the same.

In the thread pics and the vid the RED pos terminals are on the Right side of the packs,
But on the Ecoworthy website the packs shown have the RED pos terminals on the LEFT SIDE of the packs...
In fact, I don't think I have ever seen a server rack pack with pos on the right before.

Where did you purchase them from - maybe returning to the vendor verse the mfg might be easier - unless of course the vendor is the MFG.
either way I would pull from the rack and pop the top provided there are no warranty seals - and post pictures of the insides.

Yea I'd be concerned about warranty seals and then them claiming it could have been tampered with.
Only ones with Grade AAA++ cells do that.

What is the state of charge of each pack? Is one pack higher than the others and you're getting a huge amp surge? A clamp meter or two would be helpful.

What does everyone else think? Could 700 amps going thru 4 awg make that spar if they are tight?? I do not think so.

What if OP has one pack wired wrong way around from the factory - did they get a DDM and confirm Pos is the Red terminal on every pack?
