Thank you, I'm thinking I'll do it similar and build a small closet space to hold the set up. My Ontario winters can get pretty cold, but we don't let the temps drop below freezing very often, only if we're gone for a day or 2. Is it a problem to let the batteries get cold if they're not being used, if I allow them to warm up before initiating the system? I saw some lifepo4 batteries that said they were good to -20, is that nonsense?I run my lfp in a closet off of my office. No safety issues other than the exposed bus bars. Personally I wouldn’t let them get that cold ever. But if you do make sure the bms has a low temp shutoff. You’d need to warm up the cabin above freezing before resuming operation.
