Hi,
I "think" I need PV disconnect between panels and MPPT and perhaps one between MPPT and my battery (or between MMPT fuse and battery).
Can you help with some options?
The MPPT is Victron Smartsolar 150/45, my batteries are 12V LFP (230Ah, 100Ah).

thank you

I put the current connected disconnect between the panels and the MPPT. It’s got the ratings, and I trust current connected mostly to not carry junk.

Having said that, it feels a little wonky. But works.

It does have an annoying safety feature that you can’t turn it on/off without the cover in place.

Note the Victron requirements for wire for the MPPT. Going in and out.

Being able to disconnect the solar is helpful.

so you're using/recommending these breakers

MidNite Solar MNEDC 5A~100A 150VDC/120Vac Non-Polarized Panel Mount Breakers

?

This is what I use.

@JohnnyBravo

The other thing to keep an eye out for is old fashioned metal box disconnects that are DC rated. The spring loaded kind with the handle that go “thunk” when you throw the switch and manually disconnect the contacts.

Sometimes they can be found cheap. And sometimes fuseable.

I love those things.

Sounds like this is what is being described?
I have 2 of them. One for each solar charge controller to disconnect the solar panels.

it comes with DIN rail support or you have bought it separately?
Very likely I'll go for this switch.

The switch does not come with din rail although it is not required for mounting the switch. Didn't use din rail to mount as the switch has an upper and lower mounting hole for screws on the switch purchased on Amazon.
