What material is best to mount a bms to?

I have a 48v 100a 16s overkillsolar BMS. I was considering mounting it directly to the cells, but it doesn't seems optimal and I have plenty of room, I'm putting it all it a really heavy duty tote that has room above the cells. Max draw of the inverter is about 80a which has it's own protections, it's a growatt all in one unit and its fused at 100a as well. My load shouldn't ever touch that though.
Anyway I'm wondering about which martial to mount the bms to. Wood is kinda thermally insulated. I'm also trying to find a martial that's not particularly electrically conducive. Idk how hot they get. Will the side of the tote work? Also I dont see any mounting holes, are you supposed to use the threaded holes on top? I dont think the holes in the pcb are for mounting are they? Sorry for the long explanation, just trying to give all the info. Thanks!
