Hey guys, I have a question. I am going to be assembling a couple 48v batteries using 16 280cells. My question is what would a good all around bms amp rating be? This will be used in house boats and small offgrid cabins. I was thinking 200 amps should be good. But not sure. I usually just deal with 12volts. Thought I would venture into the 48volt.
Also what are your thoughts on the 200amp jbd. I use jbd on all my 12v. I'm just not familiar with the relay version.

The JBD BMS's are very popular

Thanks for the reply. Just not sure if a 100amp is enough for a all-around battery. More curious about what amp bms 48 volt users are using.

Not too difficult to determine if it is enough or not. ?‍♂️

The BMS is sized for your maximum current draw.
In most systems that is the inverter.
